Programs

Here at Hidden Trails Stables, we offer a weekly program from June through August (call for details) called Meet The Horses.  One of the guides speaks to our guests about horses from the ground up-feet, teeth, diet, care, behavior, safety, tack, etc.  The program usually ranges in length from a half hour to two hours, depending on the group and the interest level.

Camps

Hidden Trails Stables is excited to offer day camps again this year! Camps will begin the week of Tuesday, June 21. Day camps are offered each week and run for 3 days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Participants must register in advance to reserve their spot for the week of their choice.

“Campers” must be 7 or older to participate. Camps are designed to give participants the opportunity to master handling of the horse, balance, and rein control by completing obstacle courses and exercises. Campers will also gain an understanding of the horse itself, including anatomy, husbandry, and behavior.

Maximum number of campers per week is 6 so please reserve your spot(s) as soon as possible. Registration can be made via email at htstables@hardynet.com or by phone at (304) 897-5621. Please ask for Judy or Angie. The fee for the 3-day camp is $50.00 and must be paid upon registration. We accept cash, check, or credit cards.
